Last updated: January 25, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Consumer Cargo Inc. service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

Consumer Cargo Inc. provides a package forwarding service that allows customers to receive packages from retailers that do not ship to their location. We receive packages at our warehouse, process them, and forward them to the customer's address.

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Service Fees and Payment

Our fees include a base processing fee and shipping costs. All fees are clearly displayed before you confirm a shipment. Payment must be made in advance of shipping. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified on our website.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We will make reasonable efforts to process and ship packages promptly. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other factors outside our control. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.

6. Prohibited Items

You agree not to ship prohibited items through our service, including but not limited to: illegal goods, hazardous materials, perishable items, and items that exceed our size and weight limitations. We reserve the right to refuse or return any package containing prohibited items.

7. Package Insurance

We offer optional package insurance for an additional fee. If you do not purchase insurance, you assume all risk of loss or damage during shipping. Our liability is limited to the amount of insurance purchased.

8. Customs and Import Duties

You are responsible for complying with all customs regulations and paying any import duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country. We are not responsible for packages seized or delayed by customs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Consumer Cargo Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with your use of our service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of our service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Delivery Partners

Consumer Cargo Inc. functions solely as a facilitator and not as a freight or delivery provider. By using our services, you authorize Consumer Cargo Inc. to coordinate the delivery of your packages through our network of vetted third-party local delivery and freight partners. Consumer Cargo Inc. does not operate as a freight forwarder, but rather acts as your agent in arranging delivery services through these trusted delivery partners on your behalf.
